Anionic, sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate, approx. 38% active. Excellent flash foam with good tolerance of hard water. Stable across a wide pH range, so it works in acidic and alkaline products as well as neutral ones.

Formulating with surfactants
Surfactants are the working core of most cleaning products. They lower surface tension so water can wet the surface, lift soil and hold it in suspension until it is rinsed away. The right blend controls foam, detergency, mildness, viscosity and cost.
