Non-ionic / amphoteric, C12-14 alkyl dimethyl amine oxide, approx. 30% active. A powerful foam booster and grease cutter that also improves mildness. Stable with hypochlorite, so it is used in thickened bleach as well as detergents.

Formulating with surfactants
Surfactants are the working core of most cleaning products. They lower surface tension so water can wet the surface, lift soil and hold it in suspension until it is rinsed away. The right blend controls foam, detergency, mildness, viscosity and cost.
